Step 1: Perform the user study.
Before you begin the first programming project, you will need to collect data for your recognizer. Below are the steps to input data.
- Clink the link below to enter the data collection studied titled “Truss Data Collection #1 (FIXED) for CSCE 624”:
- Select the first option “Show the shapes to draw in random order” and click the button labeled “Start the study”.
- You will be shown images for four different truss examples. For this study, you will be asked to draw each of these examples three times. Be sure to naturally draw what you see in the image. If the image is too small for you, then click the image to see a larger version (it will re-appear on the top-right side of the web page).
- Note: Click Next ONLY once if you want to go to the next drawing. If there is pause when going to the next shape, DO NOT click Next again.

- After completing the study, please e-mail Paul and tell him that you completed the study. After everyone in the class completes the study, then you will receive instructions to label this data.
